Jim Steele has performed professionally for over 20 years, from solo piano and jazz groups to big band and electric jazz/rock. He has performed extensively around his homebase in Fort Wayne, Indiana with occasional appearances in Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Washington, D.C., and New York City at the legendary Blue Note jazz club. Also active in composition and recording, his work has received review in national publications such as Option. He has appeared on numerous CD releases as sideman and leader, including his own "Who's There?" and "Neptune Rising". |
